The PAGP is a worldwide, collaborative endeavor. The long term goal is to “map” the “genes” (topics) of P. A. and clusters thereof (that is, “variables”), as well as the relationships between them. The result should be a clearer understanding of public administration actors and their actions, as well as a tool (called "COMPASS") to help teachers, students, researchers, and consultants use this knowledge productively in learning as well as practical strategy development and impact identification.
